HEROIN is Back

by Shane

HEROIN was created in collaboration with The Men’s Group at Rialto Community Drug Team. For one performance only you can see HEROIN in the charming surrounds of the theatre in St. Andrew’s Community Centre, the room where the show was made.

We are fuck ups and we are fucking it up. There’s dust in our mouths, we’re breaking our windows, we can’t remember who we’re voting for. We’ve collapsed all our veins so we’re standing up and shouting, we’re bailing out, we’re up and on, we’re on, we’re gone.

We’re reefing off our rings and buying more gear. Smile.

HEROIN is a radical staging of how we got here, and how much we care. It’s everything that ever happened to us, the words that were never spoken and how the ones we voted for, kicked us in the teeth.

You can also have a one off chance to view the notes and documentation of the process made by Grace Dyas from 2009- now.
