October 10th & 11th at 8pm
HEROIN is the story you were never told about the new republic, of the person you never saw, of what you built and them demolished. It’s the big one, the bad one, the one you never thought you’d try. It’s everything that ever happened to us, the words that were never spoken and how the ones we voted for, kicked us in the teeth. Grace Dyas’s play is an explosion of the social history of Heroin in Ireland over the last forty years.
THEATREclub are storming into Draoicht to start a conversation with the people of Blanch about how we all got here, and how much we care. We’ll be working with Coolmine Therapeutic Community and local youth groups in the area around this showing of the piece.
